Back from the pool! I see Jemian had a live discussion over on the cable box thread.

You know, people mock George Bush for "compassionate conservatism" and they wonder why more people don't flock to the conservative cause!

Could it be because we have a certain number of people here who make Mr. Scrooge seem like Santa Claus? Jeeminy Christmas!

Then you go to the immigration threads and there is nothing but nasty comments, instead of constructive ideas. And of course, I had to read the nasty comments on the President's Press briefing with the cabinet...you know, how we have no bill of rights anymore and how he isn't a conservative ....yada, yada, yada.

I swear some of these people got a book from Terry McAuliffe called "How to Sound Like a Conservative in 12 Easy Phrases."

Before I was gone we had found the Progressive caucus website hidden on a government server, and I just thought to check it out--it's still there! What a surprise, though it is apparently not linked directly from his page, a search on his website's engine has turned it up here: http://bernie.house.gov/pc/

Most interesting is the blurb at the bottom, and I quote:

"Welcome to the Congressional Progressive Caucus website. Please contact Congressman Dennis Kucinich's office with any questions regarding the Progressive Caucus."

Guess Bernie's too busy to minister to his legions of darkness or something, eh? To hell with the whole bunch of them! ;)

Ok , I had ham n cheese omelette for bkfst...doritios and dip for lunch...brownie and coffee for get me through the afternoon snack...some yucky chewy Gobstoppers inbetween, and an unsweetened NO LEMON iced tea on the way home...I think I am finished for the day.
