Good Morning everyone! My oldest son is suffering from food poisoning as we speak. A fast food joint appears to be the culprit. The Doctor put him on a wide spectrum antibiotic, so we're hoping for a turn around.
Today I am painting a 4 ft tall alluminum Elephant which I use as a lawn ornament GOLD. It will be used as the center piece for a parade float for a local political candidate.

I'm sorry, IG! I hope it's not E. coli. Hope he feels better soon.

If the clostridium perfringens or campylobacter won't make you sick, this might. Swishy gossip columnist
Michael Musto talks about the recent bash at the Mohegan Sun casino:
When I arrived, Bill Clinton was being honored in a side room for having helped the Mohegan tribe become formally recognized, and even he was being treated more as a celeb than a dignitary.
"He's like a modern-day rock star," gushed the presenter. "So many people want to get near him and touch him!"
(Clinton lowered his head a little embarrassedly at that one.) Mildly aroused, we traipsed on to the performing arena .... (to see Cyndi Lauper, Cher, etc.)

Good morning Gran.
Prayers up with the food poisoning business.
I am shocked that he would choose that over
all the great choices that the Great State
of Iowa has to offer.
The only bad food I've ever had in Iowa, was fast food.

Be careful about getting crossways with the Almighty over gold animal ornaments. (You remember that nasty little scrap the Israelites got into with Moses and God over a calf - we don't want to find out you've been banished to wander about in the cornfields for 40 days). ;>}
Seriously, I think a Gold Elephant would make a lovely traveling companion for any 4th of July float. Sounds fun.

Sorry your son is feeling so poorly! I hope he's feeling chipper soon!
IG, I have got to see your lawn! Is there anybody in town who doesn't know you're a Republican? :-)
Try to get some pics of the parade float, PLEASE!
