Yes, I'm still home. The wind died down last night and gave the firefighters a break. Also, the fire seems to have veered off into the valley south of us. Only "voluntary evacuation" was in force last night and I don't think anyone left the area.

And, Palo, think cool thoughts - your area is slated for 107° or better today. The GOOD news is that a cooling trend starts tomorrow so...hang on, kiddo! :^)
