Gunman storms L.A. CBS-TV studio, holds off policeTue May 28, 9:22 PM ET
LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - A gunman stormed into the CBS Television Center in Los Angeles Tuesday and tried to open fire, forcing hundreds of people to flee the sprawling media complex as his gun jammed, police and local media reports said.
A man who was in the building's lobby when the gunman entered told KABC-TV that the suspect aimed his weapon at a mail supervisor and tried to fire twice, only to have the weapon apparently misfire.
"I looked again and he was on the ground and reloading and something fell out of the gun," the man, who was not identified, told the station. "That's when I realized that this was not a joke."
If his gun jammed, the joke is on him.
I have a certain sympathy for anyone who wants to shoot up a CBS Studio.

No, I haven't seen them yet. They must be pretty off the wall ? The Brits are very good at promoting tourism so I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't get a tape with all of them or something funny to draw attention to the new ads. I may already have one here and just haven't taken time to view it yet. LOL

I've tried to watch it a few times but I just can't get too enthused about it. We have a struggling young team here. I probably ought to be more supportive of their efforts but I'd rather buy an ad in the program than buy a ticket. LOL Its too rough and tumble for me.

It has rules?I have watched about 2 hours of hockey, including the 1980 final against the U.S.S.R. and still am not sure what "icing" is.
