Grannie, you have a lovely home, with a BIG flag in front...looks like the giant size...I do think Palo was pulling your leg...
Westy, if you can figure out how not to die, please pass that trickon to me...my hubby always grumbles about the eventual death of himself...he thinks he should not have to ever die...
HairoftheDog...sure did enjoy our cemetary talking last nite...read the Olympian online today, but did not see anything about the vandalism at the local cemetary...
Loddy...you sure are right about our pets wanting us to hurry back home...when me and hubby take a weekend jaunt up to Seattle to visit the son, our always worry about Dizzy, being along...we know he has his food, and his water, and his toys, catnip, and blankets, and of course his all important litter box...but we know he misses our human companionship, with all the petaroos, and loving that goes on...sometimes when we return, we seems to actually angry at us as he will ignore us for a little while...we really know when hes mad, because while we are gone, he will 'poop' on our bed, as if to say, 'Sh!t on you'...Thanks goodness, he eats only hard food and his poop is rock hard, and does not make a mess...
ACNielsenguy...as usual, we get us up and running with your wild and wonderful links...
Kathleen, Okimhere, OneidaM...glad you are here with us, the more the merrier..
Palo...you are telling us how hot and parched it is where you are, and I am telling you, its green, soggy, wet and chilly here today...began raining last nite, let up a little bit, and now its raining again...all the pine trees, are bright green and the big maple tree out front is in full leaf and green, green, green...but its still chilly, and I still have to run a little bit of heat in the morning, to take the chill out of the air...
Yes, indeed, Hair and I were surely talking a lot about cemetaries last evening...I, myself, have always enjoyed going through cemetaries, reading the headstones, looking at the funerary art on different plots, and just enjoy the whole feeling of cemetaries...In another posting, when I have nothing else to say,(tho, I can be so longwinded, is there ever a time, when I have nothing to say?), I will tell of some really interesting things I have noted in cemetaries...for later reading...
How is the famous Lulu this day? I bought some roast beef at the store yesterday, and thought of Lulu and Happy and the roasty beef parties...
And to end this all, the mailman came to the door a short while ago, carrying a package, so I just knew it was one of my dollies that I had ordered from off of ebay...I will open it this evening...but he also delivered me an extra treat...we got our income tax refund...I never to our income tax early, prefering to always leave it to the last day(I enjoy being with the throngs of other procrastinators)...and I never file online...prefer to just go to the post office, and get our paper check in the mail...so today it arrived...now I can show the hubby, and he will forget his shock that he will be feeling, when I tell him I spent almost my whole bankroll(left aside a few bucks in case of an emergency)...
Did I forget anyone...sure hope not...if I did, chalk it up to my aging brain slowly becoming addled...
