i have one of those purses. actually mine closes with velcro in the center. it just looks like a seam and no one would ever know there is a concealed weapon inside.
I've never been comfortable carrying with a holster, it juts out at the hip, regardless of the type of holster. I have an entire collection of holsters that I never use. It's harder for women to carry concealed.
I have 2 concealment purses that I alternate, depending on the size of what I'm carrying. Of course, I'm always carrying at least one lipstick. ;)
