I think the countries screwed( sorry to say) no 3rd party will ever win and the Repubs are a bunch of liberals now. The libertarians I like on all domestic issues but after listening to Harry Browne's opinions on how to deal with terrorism I get the sense they won't fight to save their life. The Randist are pro war but since they are so openly athiest they'll never get support from the Christian right. Bush did a 180 degree turn to the left( which he doesn't need to do to get reelected with his popularity). The best hope is that a Pinochet type will take over and fix things.
