Trump was on a roll. He removed Maduro from power. He shot up the drug-smuggling boats heading to the US. And last summer, he wrecked Iran’s nuclear sites in Operation Midnight Hammer.
And then it looks like he caught “victory disease”.

Such a thing is not always fatal. But it often puts you in a hole that’s difficult to climb out of. Time will tell.
