I’m having trouble creating a new post for some reason, have I forgot how? I’ve been absent from this thread for several years but am back reading all the wisdom again.
I’ve asked countless people this question - “does it seem that the general public is just getting dumber by the day?”. All have agreed. From people working the counters at stores, to gas station attendants, to people you see and interact with in the grocery store, it seems that simple social interaction, conversation and general aptitude is decreased significantly. I have my thoughts, and have done a little digging.

“Conclusions
These findings raise concerns about the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines and potentially of other vaccines as well, in individuals with mood affective disorders, current/recent insomnia and nicotine dependence and people on multiple psychotropic drugs. Whether these associations are translated into increased risk for breakthrough infections and immune mediated long-term sequels of the SARS-CoV-2 infection warrants further investigation”
If true, this explains a lot. Considering the number of people on psych meds and their general pro vaccine attitudes, one can make a connection. Forgive me if this has already been discussed.
As much as I don't like saying it, I was right about this in 2021. My greatest fear is that someone that has other people's lives in their hands will make a dumb mistake because they are vax injured. For instance, an airplane mechanic.

“Conclusion: Psychotropic medications, including antidepressants, showed potentially relevant safety risks for COVID-19 patients. These vulnerable patient group must be prioritized for early access to safe and efficacious COVID-19 vaccines, as vaccination remains the most important public health intervention to tackle the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.”
