Back in the day we used to make it a point to eat at Cracker Barrel.
Now it’s just another chain restaurant out on the interstate.
Last couple of times we went to the one closest to us the table was sticky and the food was average at best.
Too many other options to put up with that.
Having said that, it’s all about the management and crew but you only have one chance to make a good impression.....after two strikes I was done.
The change from cooking on site to reheating frozen food was the real problem. Bad food drives diners away.
