This is the kind of person who ‘winds up missing, all a sudden”. Nobody can recall exactly when they last saw or spoke to her, because to know her was to want to avoid her.

I've seen lots of police video clips of arrestees "kicking" the patrol car door after they've been cuffed and placed into the vehicle.
It's more like "stomping" than "kicking."
