Day after day nearly every retired military guy on all the TV networks say
don’t trust Iran,
don’t lengthen the ceasefire because that’s exactly what Iran wants,
and get the bombing going again-—which was stopped much too soon.
I never saw one say “all we are saying is, give peace a chance.”

Not trusting Iran is a very safe thing to say. Eventually you can come close enough to being right all the time about that. It really does not take long.
Trump has been trying to spare the Iranian People who have suffered for decades under the current regime(s)...why do so may here have TDS and whine because they can’t have it like the Queen song goes - “I want it all and I want it now”?
