The rich Russian urban elites, many of whom were Jews supported the Bolshoviks and the revolution against the Czar. When the Bolshoviks took power they openly showed what they really thought of those elites. They seized their property, killed, imprisoned or if lucky allowed them to emigrate. History is beginning to repeat.
