Our SIL is a gamer. Our grandson is 8 months old. I pray that his damn “gaming” doesn’t interfere with being a dad.

Assuming it’s a hobby he enjoys and not a weird obsession, he’ll be just fine.
In fact, my kids beg me to play games that overlap generations (Mario, in particular). We’ve had a lot of fun together.
