I’m having a hard time believing “fertility rate for Black women in the 1850s was 7.9 births per woman.”
I'd never heard this before: "A total fertility rate of 1.3 is considered impossible to reverse, because it would take 80 to 100 years to correct itself, and there is no economic model that can sustain a culture during that time."
I never knew there was a point-of-no-return. Mark Steyn wrote of the collapsing Western European fertility rate in his great book "America, Alone" twenty years ago:

It forecasts the downfall of Western civilization due to internal weaknesses and Muslim population growth in Western countries and the world generally. According to a July 1, 2007 The New Republic article, Steyn says that white people "are too self-absorbed to breed", while the Muslim population is increasing rapidly—the 20 million European Muslims in 2006, will have increased to over 150 million by 2015
As a result, there will be a "large-scale evacuation operations circa 2015". Europe will cede to Al Qaeda and "Greater France" will "remorselessly evolve into Greater Bosnia."
Steyn may have missed some details, but he sure saw the big picture.
