Not good for my boat!!
Yet another two thumbs down for our current administration!!
Calm.down no on is taking away boat gas. E0 is still sold and will keep being sold. So will E10 as mandated in EPA cities , all this does is legalize the sale of E15 year round. It still must be in labeled pumps, with different nozzles from both E10,E85, and E0 you have to be special to no see and then ignore all the signs and warnings not to mix E15 with normal E10.
Choice is good my Ecoboost loves E15 and E85 more the high octane opens up higher boost levels and gobs more horsepower from the twin turbos. The hit in mpg is small couple miles vs E10 we have to use in DFW by federal law due to our air quality. E85 is a 10-20% hit to mpg so unless you want to run it like race gas it needs to be 15% or more cheaper per gallon vs E10 to justify the cost for commuting. For use where I want 500+ hp out of my twin turbos the price is worth the performance boost its not commuter fuel at that point.
