We need to bring back the independent medical practice.

Offer incentives, tax, legal, regulatory et al to professionals willing to do that.

When someone sees a provider who works for a health system, you’re the patient, but that provider does not work for you.

That provider works for the health system signing his or her paychecks.

And that health system likely has higher priorities than your well-being.
