Even pepper spray is banned. The British police advise folks to carry a whistle for self-defense. And that’s it.
Whistle guy vs. knife guy. I’m gonna bet on the knife guy every time.
Oh, but it gets even worse, and even sillier. There is now a movement in the UK to ban pointed knives everywhere. Not just in public, but everywhere - including in homes.
Criminals don’t obey the law. So that would be just one more law for them to ignore.
