Interesting to note that people are not having kids in the developed world while they are having them in poor nations.
It is well documented that even in the poorest countries, people are having fewer children.
The highest birthrate was Somalia and Yemen in 1985 at 9 children per women.
That rate has been halved since then and is still falling.
Even in poor countries the number if kids per woman has dropped.
In India 40 years ago it was close to 5 kids per woman. Now it is 2.0 or below
The same for Bangladesh.
In sub saharan Africa and Pakistan it is still at 3 to 4 but 40 years ago it used to be much higher
