There are many democrats in Texas. There are entire road structures being built in Texas to accommodate the sleaze democrats fleeing California instead of staying there to fix it, allowing a bad reality show villain who sells witch crystals for a living to run for mayor of LA instead of staying to run for mayor themselves who will go to Texas, making it worse.
