IF (big “IF”) the poison decomposes as the mole does, he could just become fertilizer under a plant — IF you don’t have the problem we do of scavengers digging him up...
We have scavengers, for sure.
After we were sure that the mole succumbed, hubby took him out to the woods, and gave him a humble sendoff. Far enough away to not catch his scent from our house.
It’s out of my hands now.
Well... CRAP. I came in from a couple minor tasks B4 dark, to find that one of those Windows updates one can’t avoid, that apparently mostly installs different “looks” and so on — Freaking MicroSoft can never leave what works just fine, alone — has tonight killed one of my most useful programs: IrfanView, which is a very nifty image file viewer and editor, and also runs my scanner.
None of the fixes at the FAQ page on the IrfanView website help. In fact, the same error pops up if I try to run the installation (setup.exe) file to try to reinstall IrfanView.
So, I’ve emailed the people at the IrfanView website, and hopefully they will respond and will know what to do. :-(
Damn MicroSoft...
