There are a myriad of reasons why people get divorced. Trying to make two people stay together who don’t want to be together is just going to make them hate each other. They aren’t going to get lovey dovey again. They’ll just be miserable.
Fair enough.
But, again, this is a parental-driven problem in terms of contemporary divorce. We learned about the sanctity and indissoluble dimension of marriage from our parents. Them little DoodleBobs will learn from me and Mrs. DB.
Also, as a Catholic, I would submit that many new marriages are probably candidates for annulment. Indeed, an exorcist in Nashville, Fr. Dan Rehill, got an annulment after 5 years of marriage.
But married men and women calling the divorce atty after a bump in the road while Mary is 3 years old is immoral.
I dont think you understand what is being said.
Even so you are quit probably not helping anybody by expressing scorn or disapproval. Why would these men listen to you?
As I understand their position, please correct me, anyone, with my thanks:
If she wants to leave, let her go.
(Nobody disagrees if that is all you are saying,)
But!
But she cannot take half of his earnings/ half his possessions.
But she has no entitlement to child support while she has the kids.
When she has them, she pays.
But when he has them he pays.
But no man is responsible for the child of another man,
or for any of his wife’s children who refuses a paternity test.
But never marry a woman who refuses a prenuptial.
Is there something else?
(My own opinion is reserved for practicing Christians not pagans.)
