Eric Fartwell was in the lead among the Democrats but now fellow Democrat Tom Steyer is spending big money to point out that Fartwell is NOT legally qualified to run for governor since he is NOT a legal resident of California since his only home is owned in Maryland.

What's the point of having such restrictions if there's not one in the registration office that checks such things?
