We saw the total solar eclipse in April, 2024 from our driveway. We sat outside with neighbors and had a quick party, about 2-3 hours long. It was so fascinating, beautiful, and a little eerie all at the same time.

Same here. All I had to do was walk (carefully) out into the pasture.
I wouldn’t have minded going to see the 2024 eclipse, but my wife was barely a month out of back surgery, so traveling was not an option.
