"Free thought" is a philosophical viewpoint which holds that positions regarding truth should be formed on the basis of logic, reason, and empiricism, rather than authority, tradition, revelation, or dogma.

That law applied only to industries involved in interstate commerce. SCOTUS was constantly involved in minimum wage laws, especially where states' rights were involved. I am not sure what my status was in 1956-7; at this late date I don't remember what discussions might have occurred concerning minimum wage. All that I remember now is that in Florida my first job paid 50¢ an hour.

We had a cedar wax wing in our house for a couple months. I fell a tree and heard some peeping, a couple little birds. One died. Took it home and fed it huckleberries in a basket. Wilbur flew around the house. Played tag with the kids, landing on their heads. Slept on a lamp shade in our bedroom. Would wake up early and fly into the kitchen looking for food and flew back trying to wake me by hoovering in place overhead, then fly back into the kitchen, then flew back and pecked my ear until I got up. Landed on the neck of a guitar as our friend played and sang. One of the best pets we ever had.
This is why I do not think trials and sentencing, or sentences carried out, has happened yet. Q made it clear the public has to see justice, not secret behing closed doors. Time will tell...Sorry not good formatting.

For shits and giggles, I decided to see just how hard it would be to replace my birth certificate, Social Security card, AND my marriage license, since Democrats think women are too stupid to figure it out.
Here’s how it went:
1. Birth certificate: Contacted the health department of the county where I was born. They OVERNIGHTED a certified copy to me the next day - total cost, $14.
2. SS Card: Contacted Social Security on their site. They asked if I was sure I needed the card, since I ‘won’t likely be asked for it.’ I went ahead and got it - took five business days to arrive - total cost, $0.
3. Marriage License: Went to the ‘vital docs’ site of the county where we were hitched. Filled everything out online, arrived in three days - total cost, $5.
It cost less than $20 to obtain all three certified/legal documents, and it took less than five business days to receive them. Note: if I had lived where I was born or married, it would have been a day. Tops.
Anyone telling you this is too hard or unfair is lying and hiding the real reason they want to stop Voter ID.

Pay Nearly $1 For A Stamp? USPS Pushes For 90-95 Cent First-Class Rate Hike

Americans could soon pay nearly a dollar to mail a first-class letter as the U.S. Postal Service seeks higher rates to address deepening financial losses.
Postmaster General David Steiner told a House Oversight Committee hearing that the agency wants to increase the price of a first-class stamp from the current 78 cents to between 90 cents and 95 cents.
The Postal Service posted a $9 billion loss in 2025 and faces the risk of running out of cash within 12 months if no changes are made.
“As you all know, there are only three things that any company can do to improve financial performance — sell more products, raise prices, or cut costs,” Steiner said in his testimony. “… On the pricing side, we need to look for higher prices on both our package and mail products.”
He added that lifting the stamp price to as high as 95 cents “would largely solve our controllable loss.”
Steiner, who took over the Postmaster General role in July after Louis DeJoy departed in early 2025, noted that the current 78-cent rate is the lowest “in the industrialized world.”
France charges about $3 and the U.K. about $2.50 for comparable service, he said, while the U.S. delivers “from the tip of Puerto Rico to the tip of Alaska for 78 cents.”
