It’s a no-brainer what Apple was after. Tesla is years ahead of anyone regarding self-driving. Not to mention, the engineering that goes into the rest of the car. Detroit and others thought they could just put electric motors and batteries in cars/trucks designed for gas/diesel engines. They found out the hard way that it wasn’t that easy. Teslas are in a league by themselves.
