It's been 30+ years since the last Contract With America. With a thin majority we've got the public on our side(immigration). Abortion is behind us. After six years in office Trump's not taking any chances. He's called for a September midterm convention that would in effect put him back on the ballot this November. Draw up the contract at the convention and present it on Sept. 28, the anniversary of the first one. Call it a vote of confidence for the whole country. The possibility of 55 senate seats would make room for the rinos to play their games to no effect. More importantly it would set up the country-and the GOP- for '28.

When does the earliest early voting start? Seems like late September might be a bit late for a mid-term convention. Should be at least two weeks before any voting can begin.

I’m not one to go to the well too often but many voters are not old enough to remember the last contract. If the voter ID gets passed in the senate this week we might not need it but if this contract idea is presented in late September it would cover all the early voting periods.

I’d like a three step approach

1) Voter ID - help us have more honest elections
2) Arrest corrupt Democrats — help the country see that these people are just criminals.
3) Create a short list of promises to the American people to make the future better.

I think they are all important, but I put that Contract with America last because I think it is the least important of the three.

Senators are spoiled brats. They work against Trump’s agenda. Get a challenger and then bitch because Trump will not promise them $$$.

Unless it’s a contract to charge those in the Epstein docs, it doesn’t matter. Unless we have nooses on the White House lawn on July 4th, the Trump/MAGA era will come to a quick end.

Don’t need a contract!
The GOP needs to go full MAGA and EARN it!

It’s always a carrot and a stick forever in your face and just out of reach.

It looks like the republicans will win the senate but they’re behind in the house by roughly 220-215. Most of the house seats are a lock by either the democrat or republican candidate with only very roughly 35 seats that are actually in play.

I’ve seen data which shows that in 92% of house races, the party that spends the most— wins.

Therefore, Republicans need to figure out the minimum they need to spend to ensure that they outspend democrats in uncontested districts. then spend the rest of their war chest on the contested districts.

My understanding is that the RNC has about 5 times the amount of money in their war chest as the DNC. That’s on top of the Trump war chest.

End H1-B Visas,
Ban AIPAC
Ban Congress from trading stocks

Do this now and have the Democrats be filerbusting it during election season

Whatever happened to that much-ballyhooed "Midterm GOP Convention" that was bandied about some months ago?

That seems like a very good idea to mobilize the masses. Let's hope it actually happens.

It doesn’t matter how much money Trump has because the Republicans in Congress are bought off, lazy, & incompetent.

He could spend all of it, but he’d just be putting lipstick on a bunch of pigs.
