Very cool, but I’d note this. True, it was a port like Alexandria, but the reader could be left with the impression that that isn’t they have the same name. In fact, Alexander gave the name Alexandria to about 70 settlements. Scholars are unsure whether that was because he was a massive egomaniac, or because he was able to save on city limit signs by buying in bulk (jk, it was the former)

I think it’s because he had a very stunted imagination lol
That was Great of him.
He was wise to put his stamp on his conquests, but had no idea that he was going to live just a few more short years. And he was no pampered prince, he fought hard for everything he ever had, just had the good sense to be born to a tough dad who made him do that.
