Some weirdo just walked in with another AI story. Should I call security?
I have seen many patients walk into ER claiming anxiety attacks(benzos), heart attack symptoms (want morphine), complaing of muscle pains, vomiting ( want opiates for withdrawal symptoms), a lot of pregnant women would come in with “stomach” pain (wanted sonogram -— sonograms were cool then)...and I didn’t work in ER....I just serviced the department...a colleague of mine had kidney stones( very painful)...ER wouldn’t give him opiates...they thought he was faking it.
People know how to game the system.
