Notice what Hanson doesn't say. Who the revolutionaries are.

The revolutionaries in my opinion are the same ideology in terms of their religion as the Nazi's of WWII(under Himmler.) I've attempted to explain in the past.
Not Judaism though many of them came from ancient Israel. Judaism lost the wars against them.

Another hint who revolutionaries are:
During King David’s reign, Judah defeated Edom, established garrisons, and brought Edom under subjugation (2 Samuel 8:13–14

During the fall of Jerusalem in 587 BCE, Edomites were accused of active betrayal: they not only gloated over Judah’s destruction but also blocked escape routes, handed fleeing Judahites to the Babylonians, and looted the city (Psalm 137:7–9; Obadiah 1:11–14)

Judah and Edomites did NOT like each other.
People in Judaism called them Idumeans suggesting they never fit in.
After the war which Herod the Great likely forced their conversion and became infiltrators of Judaism but they didn't stop there. They became master infiltrators of every major belief.
