ThankQ. Am drinking pine needle tea, which is all I have on hand. I made a big deal about how I was taking IVM to hubby, then got worse cough. Kept us both up all night. He is scoffing freely now. I dare not ask him to go find me mullein tea! I think I waited too long to start IVM. I was about a week into the cold.
Pine needle tea offers benefits like boosting immunity with high Vitamin C, acting as an expectorant for respiratory issues (coughs, colds, congestion), providing antioxidants, and supporting hydration, skin, and heart health, but you must correctly identify the pine (avoid toxic ones like Yew) and consult a doctor, especially if pregnant or allergic.
Key Benefits:
Rich in Vitamin C & A: Contains significantly more Vitamin C than oranges, supporting immune function, vision, and iron absorption, plus Vitamin A for skin and healing.
Respiratory Support: Acts as an expectorant, thinning mucus and easing coughs, colds, bronchitis, and sore throats.
Antioxidant Powerhouse: Full of antioxidants (like flavonoids) that fight free radicals, reduce inflammation, and protect cells from damage, potentially slowing aging.
Cardiovascular Health: Antioxidants may improve blood flow and reduce inflammation, benefiting heart health, says Botanical Teas.
Diuretic & Hydrating: Can act as a mild diuretic, helping flush kidneys, and provides hydration.
Caffeine-Free: A natural, soothing beverage alternative.
First indication of ‘something’ IVM before bed, max I have ever had to do was three nights to be free of what ailed me. Don’t wait, attack.
Tea made with Cloves and Ginger and Honey might help. I hope you feel better!
Best immune boost is also good for fighting cancer.
We all need a daily dose of mushrooms, doesn’t take
but 1 or 2 but tis your best source of zinc and many
other minerals. Vitamin D too, dry them out in the sun
and they’ll absorb even more D, like we humans do.
Only got sick 2 times in the last 5 years and those
were the times I forgot to keep up my regimen. Works
for colds, flu, sinus, upper respiratory but not so
well after you’ve allowed the infections.
