Think of Rosie the robot in the Jetsons: someone to take out the trash, clean your toilets, load dishwasher, pull weeds, sweep the patio, cut your hair, and do laundry—so you can enjoy your home and garden more, and take long drives!
No more emergency “help I can’t get up” calls when you fall because Rosie will be there to help you up! We will be able to do the things that rejuvenate us, and stop doing the things that wear our bodies out.
Well... those are not bad things I will admit.
BUT I have three dogs that can’t even get along with the stand-up vacuum cleaner - a Roomba would be a disaster so I know allowing a humanoid robot in the house the barking would never end.
Besides all those regular chores help keep my butt off the couch.
