🤷 Something like that... more laws to be ignored but to appear to be doing something... more gouging the citizen - taxpayer... more rich carpetbagger politicians. sigh
Here's my early morning rant. It was in the national news a couple of years ago about the terrible flooding in my community west of Orlando, Orlo Vista. (My area did not flood.) The flooding was caused by Hurricane Erin.
I guess it was FEMA that supplied $ millions to solve the problem - and I suppose that it is solved. There was apparently a lot of money left over. So Orange County gave that money to the water company for a credit on everyone's water bill... EVERYONE except me. For miles around I have met no one that has to pay their water bill for about a year and a half - except me.
I have been to the water company who says to contact the county. I have contacted the county - Oh, that's too bad! Not much that can be done now. 🤷 And here's the frosting on that cake: so far I haven't received a bill, just a general info email which mentions a figure for this month - no form to send in to show that I paid - or did not pay - nothing.
I am thinking of trying to talk a high powered attorney in taking a case pro bono; the credit is only about $400-600, so any legal fees would defeat any value to legal action.
That is my early morning rant. 😒
