I am one piece of paper away from documenting my lineage back to six signers of the Mayflower Compact. Unfortunately, that one document is proving to be very elusive due to a fire in the 1890s that destroyed documents.
It sounds like a daunting task. I wish you luck for sure.
Keep at it. It took about a decade but my geneology lady found that William Bradford is one of my 9th great grandaddies. The other one is John Chandler at the Jamestown Colony. Can’t fling a dead cat without running into a 400 year old relative.
My ancestors were part of the Merchant Adventurers. None them were Pilgrims.
