Hubby got t boned on the way home from work this evening. Thanking God he and the other driver walked away without serious injury. The “tank” as we call the Yukon is totalled though. It was a good vehicle and only at 237k miles. So this is how 2026 starts? Along with my PT for my lumbar disc tear, I hope it gets better. Challenge now is finding another older vehicle without rust.
Ouch!
Best bet on a used car with no rust is in the south, TN/AL/GA/SC/AR/TX. Coastal cars in FL might have some from saltwater.
Also, glad both drivers are Ok.
Glad hubby is ok.
Drivers are nuts nowadays.
Had one here high on meth going 90 miles an hour the other day.
Killed the other person in the car she hit.
Oh, my, 2026 is certainly brining you challenges.
But I am glad your DH is not injured.
Good luck on the new car.
I hear you 2026 is already throttling me. In 9 days: wife got bad biopsy result, my dad’s sister (my aunt) passed at 84, and my car is showing intermittent brake/ABS/slip warning lights that I have to get checked out (likely a sensor).
If I’m going to get something like this every 3 days it’s going to be a hell of a long year.
I’m thinking you are now pre-disaster Ed for all of 2026. 🛐
Prayers for you.
Oh no. At least Mr. TXBubba is fine, even if you can’t say the same for the Yukon. Silver linings.
TX B....Shucks. The accident..... I am sorry for you but glad you both made it out! Its still a shock to your system when that happens and hope you can get past that shock quickly. Hope your next car/truck is a good one!
