He holds down a job. My two nephews now in their 50's who were adopted by my brother and his wife when they were 3 months old have mental disabilities. They spent their school days in special education, but are hard working guys who have never been without a job, own their own cars, pay for their own insurance, share an apartment, do their own laundry, housecleaning, shopping, etc. and still keep an eye on my sister-in-law when my niece and her family are away.
