People have lost all sense of propriety. It’s a lack of respect to be inappropriately dressed say, at a funeral, a church, a visit to someone’s home, etc.
Recently I went to a funeral and people were there who looked like they just left the beach.
It’s what Jordan Petersen called ‘Idiot Casual’
Dress, behavior and all the rest, you can always count on people to live down to your lowest expectations.
Every time I go to Wally World, it takes all the restraint I can muster not to walk up to rank strangers and ask them, “Who told you it was fitting to leave the house dressed like that?”
Sick.
So if we want to "be somebody", we should judge ourselves and others by the clothing we wear. It's all flash, no substance.
The better you dress, the "better" the person you are.

1. Maybe we should be glad they’re going to church at all.
2. The 6 or so years ago I shopped for a “decent” new suit and they wanted $600. I could probably get a cheaper suit, but my old ones will do for now.
“Even the ladies, she noticed, were wearing skirts and dresses instead of pants”
I never wear pants into church. And that includes when I’m there alone practicing organ, etc. I hate to see it, but it’s so common now 🫤
My old boss’s view was a fit guy in clean kakis and a golf shirt looked better than an obese guy in a jacket and tie. He had a point.
Maybe they did. Spend some time in a working town or city. Watch the working men in particular come in to church right from work, especially the evening vigils. Watch the working men come into church on their lunch break.
Celebrate them being there and stop judging them for what they wear.
God chose Joseph, a carpenter, and Christ chose several fishermen to be His Apostles.
The wife and I watch a fair amount of Court TV.
It’s amazing what atire the courts now allow in the courtroom.
I’ve seen people on the witness stand wearing cloths I would be embarrassed to wear anywhere in public.
Been called for jury duty 4 times and the summons is always very clear on potential juror attire.
Every single time, half the jury pool shows up looking like they’re just coming from Walmart......and don’t get me started on Gen Zers wearing pajamas and House shoes......friggin’ lazy. SMH
At Microsoft for business roles, there is expected interview attire:
Levi’s, a pressed shirt and Sport Coat.
Right now, I’m at SEA on a trip to AUS, wearing 501Ts, a plaid Orvis shirt in fall colors, a Filson field coat lined in heavy wool buffalo plaid, and fresh Redwing Loggers. All outdoorsman wear, but fresh, clean, expensive and likely to last decades. In Seattle, I’m the best dressed guy at the airport.
The defendant is entitled to a jury of his peers, not your peers.
Preach it sister!
The largest falsehoods you were ever told were from a man in a suit.
Moscot Lemtosh eyeglasses, a neatly trimmed beard and fresh haircut.
I’m MILF bait…
You still butthurt about dressing like a bum?
Ha ha
They say you can't polish a turd, but as we learned in the military, you can roll it in glitter.
Glitter away you crazy child.
Well i don’t know about any of that, but I just hope we don’t consider braless tops in the summertime a form of lowest common denominator...
...that would be a shame.. .
Wow. That’s impressive. 😉
