Ran into them during one of our DC trips with the Chattanooga Tea Party - not the big rally but another one. Some time around 2009-2011 time frame. Anyway, I had 2 cameras, one with a telephoto zoom lens and one with a regular zoom lens.

I must have looked like I was the press because that Medea chick from Code pink started walking towards me with the intent of maybe being interviewed. Until she saw my patriotic shirt - she turned away abruptly. I chuckled.

Thanks for the Code Pink info. I remember a group called “Pussy Riot” later on, maybe a subset. They tried to do something in Russia and were all instantly arrested.
