First place I would look at is Chinese working at Anthropic, who were born in China or Taiwan. Them spilling the beans to hackers in China, who were then able to direct Claude Code to do the AI hacking of 30 important entities.
Next on suspect list is Chinese born here. Not all volunteer to screw America for the big cash payout. CCP can threaten to harm relatives living in China.
I work for a large tech company and we have some Chinese people on our team.
They seem like decent and trustworthy people and I consider them work friends, but I’m always cognizant of the realities and try to pay attention to what they are doing.
