I have Starlink. There’s 10 devices on it. 6 phones, 2 computers, 2 gaming computers. I’ve never had a problem. Even when it’s snowing. We had the business plan with Consolidated Communications. $135. It was down more than it was up, especially when it came time for payroll. I always sweated payroll. Even told family members to get off so I could do payroll. with Starlink, it’s a breeze.
I’ll never go back to land based internet. I’ll starve first.
I have DISH for TV, Spectrum for internet. Both could stand improvement, a lots of it, including lower prices. Spectrum is now supporting Windows 11, which I do not have yet as it appears to be a complete disaster. Dish Network offers quite a bit, but the basic TV package with movies seems to be about all reruns & a very poor bargain for close to $100.
I have Consolidated Comm but no probs
they are now INFIDIUM
How’s the downlink during heavy rain?
I have Spectrum too... and yeah it’s not cheap.
If I had Starlink could I get FOXNews on it? FoxBusiness? You mention phones... your cellphones? Last major hurricane we had power but no TV, no land line phones or computers. Than heavens for cellphones. That wa it for communication with the outside world.
