Are you suggesting cats migrate?
Not at all. They could be carried.
What? An Eagle carrying a cat?
It could grip it by the husk…
It’s not a question of where he grips it it’s a simple question of weight ratios. A five-ounce bird could not carry a five-pound cat.
We need more Monty.
What’s the airspeed velocity of an unladen bald eagle?

Was it an African or European bald eagle?
"What do you mean? a Canadian Sphinx or Himalayan cat?"
"What? I...I don't know that....AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!"
Eagles will drop their “catch” onto rocks to kill it.
Or at least stun it. So it is not wiggling around when they literally rip its guts out.
I have seen an eagle do this with a fish on the Merrimack River in NH. Drop it from a height and then fly down to eat it. Pick it up again and drop it a second time.
FYI, they also like to perch on the top of the cross on the very top of Saint Maries Parish. Its steeple is the highest point on the west side of Manchester.
Sometimes there are two eagles up there. One on each side of the cross.

An adult bald eagle weights 8 to 14 pounds and can fly with prey weighing 4 to 7 pounds.
