TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - A Gadsden County man was arrested Wednesday night in Tallahassee for his role in a Panama City shooting, according to police.

Davion Sutton, 18, was arrested at a family member’s home in Tallahassee, according to the U.S. Marshals.

He faces murder and firearms charges.

57-year-old Tammy Chambers was found dead inside her car on Jenks Ave. in Panama City on Tuesday.

Panama City police say the shooting is the result of mistaken identity. Authorities also said Chambers was on the phone with her husband during the incident.

Sutton, who is from Gadsden County, was released from state prison just nine days before the shooting. According to the Florida Department of Corrections, he was released on November 2 after serving approximately 18 months of a four-year sentence for a 2022 attempted murder in Gadsden County.

He was on probation at the time of Tuesday’s Panama City shooting.

According to authorities, two other people have been arrested for their role in the shooting.

Kamilah Armstead, 33, is charged with Accessory After the Fact (murder), and Uriah Armstead, 16, is charged with murder.

Another 16 year old black thug participated. One of their mother's was also arrested for helping them.

Tammy Chambers was a person who worked with my wife. She was a beautiful woman who was murdered by these black criminals. Things will never be the same for that community.

She was going home at 7:30pm from work, got in her car, and these blacks open fire on her and fired many rounds, killing her in her car.

Scott Adams was right. Keep away from them! They are incompatible with a civilized society.

Do you know why Ms Chambers would have been targeted to be shot to death? There was nothing at all random about that murder. Sorry for the grief you and your wife are going through now.

Never mind. I see it was most likely a matter of mistaken identity.

So sorry these thugs entered your world.

Thread link does not state why “mistaken identity” is part of the reporting.

“They were set to engage in a physical confrontation with another individual; they felt that that individual would bring a firearm to the confrontation, and so Sutton brought a gun to the confrontation,” said Chief Smith. “(He) chose just to immedietly approach a vehicle that he assumed was occupied by the individual that they were beefing with, and fired multiple rounds into that vehicle.”

"Davion" is a new one one me. The fun never ends!

Davion looks pretty uppity in that picture. Let's hope the Captain back in stir helps Davion "to get his head right".

#1: "Scott Adams was right. Keep away from them! They are incompatible with a civilized society."

So true.

Let's keep Scott Adams in our prayers. Evidently he has advanced prostate cancer.

Conflicting reporting.

Your link states that Sutton served 3 years in prison, the OP’s states he served 18 months.

Sentenced to 3 years, served 18 months and paroled for good behavior?

It’s my understanding that convicts rarely serve their full sentence. Except federal prison convicts. They serve the whole thing.

You.

You obviously believe conflicting information in an article is a huge deal.

You should get to the bottom of it!

It is obviously EXTREMELY important!
