Playing to their base. How did it get like this? The spinless Republicans had to know this was happening and said and did nothing. And WE THE PEOPLE ARE PAYING FOR IT!!!

I have 12 cords of wood that needs to be split.
I would pay some one a month’s worth of food money.
If they would come and split it for me.

Didn’t Bill Clinton add the same work requirement, too? Bad me for remembering.

When Clinton’s welfare reform which required a recipient have a social security number and had work requirements for the able bodied, 1/3rd of beneficiaries disappeared from the rolls overnight.

"First and foremost, this is the most corrupt administration in history," Pressley replied. "And then they’re cruel enough to create work requirements for hungry people to get SNAP."I guess he thinks God is cruel, too.
2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. For we hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living.

God forbid you actually have to be an American to be entitled to American taxpayer money. Why, we should just provide food stamps to every poor person on the planet. All of you lowly peasants can pay for it.
