A lesbian substitute teacher was fired on her first day over a TikTok she filmed where she appeared to leer at a young schoolgirl.
Miata Borders, 24, was axed from her position as a sub teacher at Lake Cormorant High School in Mississippi, after sharing a TikToks of her work day on October 17.
In the offending video Borders - sporting an enormous diamond crucifix necklace - filmed a group of children practicing for the school band while walking down a corridor.
As the camera lingered on one girl wearing red Crocs while holding pom poms, Borders said: 'Yeah they got it going on in this joint.'
She then added: 'Damn shorty, jeesh. Man I get up after these school kids tryna take me down.'
The remark was interpreted as a possible quip about a romance with the girl and quickly sparked fury.
One commenter on Borders's TikTok replied: 'She a teacher but getting tempted off kids. Why u even looking at students that why. Then u to busy recording yourself all day. Lol wtf.'
'Did you look at one these young ladies and say 'damn shawty'? Wtf! Get out of that damn school since these kids are making you fight urges', another posted.
DeSoto County Schools confirmed to WREG that Borders had been fired over the TikTok.
She posted another clip the next day denying the allegations against her.
'It's honestly so sad how sick the world is that you guys automatically mischaracterize me fully without further context,' Borders said
'They are shortys, they are young, that absolutely means nothing with flirting. My terminology is much different from you guys', she said.
But the rest of her video sparked further fury.

I want to know how she has a new $60,000 car as a substitute teacher.
As a retired AUTOBODY guy, (30 yr's in the business,) what we would call: a dollar down, book of the month club. Hell I can still remember, the first time I was working at a shop, and we wrote an estimate for just over $3,000.00 (Three-Thousand-Dollar's,) we had multi-level (Insurance Company) managers coming to inspect (review the estimate, line by line / item by item,) the vehicle, because they were 100% sure; their was some type of FRAUD taking place, and they were gonna be the HERO and catch it. When the actual "Vice-President," of the Insurance Company showed up (I think he was the sixth or seventh person) we had to tell him: HATE to tell you but, upon so many inspections we found an additional like $150.00 dollars of costs. He looked like he was gonna cry. He told us, right then and there, our estimate total was approved, but would take a couple of days to get the written approval to us. (HINT, this was pre Fax-Machine's, only the U.S. Mail back then.) All of this over a very basic in nature, a Lime-Green (like in color;) Chevy Station Wagon. Yes we're talking single stage paint only. I can't remember if we were still using Nitrocellulose Lacquers, or we had made the change over to Acrylic Lacquer Paints, at that time.
Yeah, I remember those days when the enamels wouldn’t dry for weeks and cars had to come back to be polished. $3000.00 was slightly less than a full total. Now cars are totaled for blown airbags.
She makes videos and posts them. YT and other social media count ‘clicks’ or the number of times the videos are watched and for how long. The ‘influencers’ are paid per video through ad revenue. There are teenagers making 5 figures a month doing this. Also, she/it might be on that sex video website where people pay a monthly fee to have access to her/its videos which can also be financially lucrative.
This has led to a terrible society for our youth. I mean, why work hard when all you need to do is videotape children while you are wearing an artificial penis and acting the fool and can become a multimillionaire.
