True, but that is the problem.
How do you say “dindu nuffin” in Punjabi?

Why?
What is your point?
I guess she doesn’t like Indians...
Again, horsehockey: They may claim that their son is whatever they want - but the whole village/province? They’re trying to claim that the death driver is innocent - or maybe be let off because they want him let off - but this guy killed innocent, unwarned and defenseless people and they know that much anyway.
So he’s a local boy?
If he were black would they call him a local boy?
What do you propose be done with him?
We could just deport him, but you seem to want some kind of justice; and under our system, he gets to have a trial and defense, and he’s innocent until proven guilty.
I’m sure you would want that for your own child, even if you don’t care about the concerns of other parents.
Where to begin. Words fail. The poor little boy should never see the light of day again.
We need to shut down all visas until every last illegal is gone. Maybe we’ll talk after 5 years and maybe not.
Twenty-one is NOT a “boy”.
He’s a grown man who killed some people while high on drugs.
The death penalty should be in play here but too many bleeding heart types have misplaced *compassion* for the perp and none for the victims.
No one is saying that they shouldn't face trial (except his home town, apparently) - but any parent worth the name tells their children that they must face up to what they have done and accept their punishment.
As someone else said, they may just not believe what they are being told; and they’re asking that he be treated fairly.
That’s a normal reaction for someone who loves their son. The young man may have taken a very wrong turn in the US that his parents don’t understand. A fair trial will clarify things.
I don’t see anyone ‘supporting his actions.’
I see people who don’t believe what they’ve been told and are perhaps in denial; but what they’re ‘supporting’ is the desire for fair treatment.
Actually you make a VERY PERTINENT point.
In watching the ACTUAL video several times I had to conclude the driver was EITHER STONED COMPLETELY out of his mind.. or simply committing SUICIDE!
Give him "Fair Treatment".. then either EXTERMINATE him or INCARCERATE him PERMANENTLY as a "GRIM REMINDER" to any future offenders!
