Here is the recipe given to me aboard our cruise ship in Curacao which was given to me by a fellow passenger. I have used it ever since. Be sure to make HOMEMADE margarita mix, not the store bought chemical laden crap. There are plenty of instructions for making your own margarita mix on the web.
1 can (12 oz) water
1 can HOMEMADE Margarita mix
3/4 can Tequila
1/4 to 1/2 can Curacao Blue
I mix this all in an electric blender and then pour into a pitcher. Then leave it in the freezer overnight to freeze. The frozen Margarita melts rather quickly back into liquid form especially if you cup the glass in your hands. Also for the Margarita mix, use finely powdered white sugar.
