What if some of your ancestors were abolitionists?
IE, not only not owning slaves, but legit against slavery before the civil war?
They would come up with some other excuse, but we all know what they really mean. It’s pure racism based on skin color.
It’s all about money and power, as usual.
Or just a Union Soldier. My 2X great grandfather lies buried in Virginia since he was 20, leaving behind a widow and two children.
