If I'm not mistaken, the first amendment says nothing about required clothing items.

She asserted her right to petition her government for redress of a grievance. Recessing the meeting before she could finish speaking likely violated her constitutional right unless they had previously established a time limit for such statements. I know a local business owner who successfully filibustered a township meeting on this point. He only finished speaking when someone on the board politely asked him to please stop. Subsequently, they implemented a time limit on public comments.

No doubt you are right.... but the home situation is much messier than that.

So, she felt she should demonstrate that she had skin in the game.

No father in the home from a young age. Father and wifey #2—who was probably the reason for him abandoning his kids and the mother of his children—“supported” the transition; the school also usurped her parental rights, alienating and grooming her only son. I'd be crazed, too.

and this was the school boards reaction:

Trustee Cecilia Escamilla-Greenwald told local news publication the Vanguard that the police were called after the second recess and that the board is considering next steps.

“We are going to be meeting about this, about what to do in such situations, and we’re going to, I know that our superintendent is going to be speaking with counsel to see what can be done because it’s very inappropriate for anybody to be coming before the board and behaving in such a manner. It’s very inappropriate,” Escamilla-Greenwald said.

this school board member needs to remember thir place..as an elected employee of the citizens
