A Florida high school football coach is accused of hitting three students in a heated brawl during practice, weeks after he allegedly fought another student at a different school.
Blanche Ely High School assistant football coach Jamir Clarke was arrested Monday after getting into a physical altercation with the students during practice, according to a Broward Sheriff’s Office police report obtained by Local 10.
Clarke, 29, had allegedly confronted one of his student players for posting something negative online about someone he knew.
When the player admitted to making the post, the 6-foot-7, 400-pound coach allegedly called the student a “bitch” and then hit them.

In my youth nearly all the coaches graduated from our school. They knew the boy’s older brothers, parents and friends. They were all highly regarded in town. I never heard of an incident of coaches being bullies. They all retired here and were held in the highest regard.
I had a coach that would grab your face mask and turn you sideways when he was unhappy.
Blanche Ely High School was a (primarily) black school - along with Dillard. We played them in HS. My coach was a good man. I will always remember him with fondness.

I gave it a pass this time because this idiot was actually swinging on several (them) students......but yeah, I can certainly see how it could be interpreted as woke language.
Glad to hear not all high school football coaches are proper jackasses.....some of mine sure were.
Blanche Ely is the high school you see driving along I-95 in the Pompano Beach area on the east side, near the Goodyear Blimp hangar.
Lots of NFL players out of there, including Patrick Peterson the cornerback, who will definitely be an HOF’er.
Very sad to see how our society has devolved.
Yup, a wake-up smack on the helmet or a good face to face spittle flying talkin’ to while being held captive by your face mask. A different time...
