Tucker knew what he was doing when he blamed the Jews yesterday at the memorial service instead of the education system’s indoctrination, brainwashing and radicalization of our youth.
I know you don’t like Tucker, and in places, his monologue was cringeworthy, but please lay off the assertion he blamed Jews. It’s obvious the Jews had no hand in this and he didn’t indicate they did.
The people he was referencing eating hummus may have been Jews, but he was referencing them, not because they were Jews, but because they were Jews who held positions of power and leadership in the Jewish community. It was their positions that he referenced them. He wasn’t just referencing all Jews generally.
Lay off the Jew hating comics for awhile sir.
It does not surprise me that there are conservatives of Iranian mothers and Pakistani fathers but neither would it surprise me if they hate Israel.
Funny, I never heard him blame the Jews.
I saw that speech. In no way did I connect Israel with killing Kirk. The similarity was on what happened to both who called people to repentance.
I thought hummus was a Middle East thing with Arabs. Hindus eat hummus.
An odd thing to say on Tucker’s Part— In this day and age, Post Holocaust, to blame the Jews for the death of Jesus. He should put the blame on the real motives rather than use Jesus. Not thinking.
“Tucker knew what he was doing when he blamed the Jews yesterday at the memorial service instead of the education system’s indoctrination, brainwashing and radicalization of our youth.”
Nothing in his speech said anything about the Jews. I could just as easily interpret his comments as saying we should all listen to and worship the Jewish martyr, Jesus.
Everyone in the story practically was Jewish. The Romans were in the Biblical account (though not mentioned by Carlson in his speech), but the picture is not painted of them being particularly noble or good. They actually did the beating and crucifying. Jews are no more culpable than anyone else in Christ’s death.
The comparison was with those who tried to silence Jesus or His followers leading to just further spread of the message, with the idea that those who tried to silence Charlie Kirk only spread his message more than ever.
I don’t agree with Carlson on Israel, but I think some are reading too much into his comments.
